GOG has also added several new features such as the ability to check online status of the friends across the connected platforms, check activity feed, leaderboard and more.GOG GALAXY 2.0, the free application to bring together all your games and friends in one place is now available for everyone to test. Meanwhile, GOG Galaxy 2.0 is also working on integrating cross-platform chat features that will allow users to chat with their friends irrespective of the platform they are using. However, the official integration means the elimination of community add-on for Epic Games Store and users will still be able to launch to view all their active subscriptions from Epic Store on GOG Galaxy and browse, install and play the game from one place. Epic Games Store too worked using the add-on. “It’s an important step towards breaking down walls between PC stores, as it enables a unified experience for players to manage their PC games library independent of where their games were purchased.” GOG Galaxy 2.0 already has a community add-on feature that allows users to bring games from several different platforms to the GOG Galaxy 2.0 account and store them at one place. “We’re excited that Epic Games Store integration has come to GOG Galaxy 2.0,” said Steve Allison, Epic Games Store general manager. However, Epic Games is the second gaming platform to integrate with GOG Galaxy 2.0 and before this Xbox Live was the only one to integrate with GOG officially. GOG Galaxy 2.0 was launched with the concept of showing all the digital games from across the platforms at one place to provide a unified gaming experience. GOG has announced Epic Games integration for GOG Galaxy 2.0 via its official blog post and Twitter handle.
